- Tenders are invited for On-Shore Drilling Rigs. Sarir Oil Operation Company B.V. Libyan Branch (SOO) head office located in Tripoli and operates two areas located in Al-Wahat region eastern part of Libya, Area 91 and Area 107. Sarir Oil Operations intends to issue a Call for Tender for On-Shore Drilling Rigs. Sarir Oil Operations B.V Libya Branch (SOO) is seeking for 2 x 2000 HP drilling rigs to operate within SOO onshore concisions located in Libyan Sirte Basin in Alwahat area about 1200 km southeast of Tripoli. Anticipated drilling operations start in Q4 Y2022. Initial contract duration would be two years contract for first rig and one year contract for second rig with contract extensions that would be depend on Company work force, Contractor performance and Operator Management Committee and Management Committee approvals.
