- Expression of Interest are invited for Water Desalination Assessment - Libya. The principal objective of this consultancy is to assess the water desalination sector in Libya through a fast, simple assessment of present desalination policies, regulations, management effectiveness and plans including the plants condition, that can be used for predicting future conditions under different investment scenarios. The World Bank will hire a consulting firm to implement this assignment and do the flowwoing main tasks: 1. Review and analyze the existing development plans, policies, regulatory and institutional arrangements, and management models adopted in water desalination. 2.A cost benefit and - effectiveness analysis for the desalination facilities. 3. Assessment of the Desalination System. The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
